KING SOOPERS CARDS

WHAT ARE THEY?

They are simply reloadable gift cards linked to our school. Coal Creek Elementary receives a monthly check from King Soopers giving us back 5% of all money spent by us the previous month.

These cards are NOT new credit cards. You do not give any personal information. These do NOT replace the fuel point KS cards. They DO NOT take away from your current credit cards perks of miles or % back.

HERE’S WHAT YOU DO

When you are ready to check out, tell the clerk you would like to load your gift card with $100 (or any amount you wish). You will then charge $100 to your existing credit card of choice (or pay cash). The clerk will credit the KS card with $100. At this point, ring up your groceries as usual (and still swipe your "other" King Soopers card that gets you fuel points). When it comes time to pay, instead of using your credit card, swipe the KS card and whatever amount necessary is deducted from the $100 on the KS card.

 

It is EASY and the school benefits in huge ways. If we all play a part we can easily raise $10,000-$20,000 a year doing and giving nothing more than a small extra step at check-out at King Soopers.

HAVEN’T USED YOUR CARD IN A WHILE?

If there is still a balance of any amount on the card it is still good to go and reloadable. If the card has a zero balance and has not been used in more than 2 or 3 months, the card may no longer be linked to Coal Creek Elementary. You will still be able to reload and use it, however, the extra % back stays with King Soopers and nevers gets back to the school. If you suspect this may be the case with your card, please contact Tara Gratz and she can check the card's connectivity.
